Fortana
Young wine, featuring outstanding freshness and simplicity, bright ruby, slightly whipped, vivid, and intense fruity (red fruits and strawberries), not persistent.
Manual harvesting of grapes in small containers, with the utmost care to safeguard their integrity and the optimal degree of ripeness.
Delicate pressing of whole grapes and first steel fermentation with refining on noble straw for 7 months. Tirage in March, refilling and refining in bottle for at least 5 months.
It is ideal with the typical salumi of the area (Culatello di Zibello and Spalla Cruda) or rich and substantial dishes. Easy to combine with the whole meal with the first dishes and meat courses.
It is recommended to serve it fresh.

The typical vineyard of our area is the Fortana, growing in a very limited area with tendentially clay soil and with a humid climate in winter and hot and dry in summer.
It was once considered the “wine of the peasants” who dissipated after the hard work of the day with a glass of vivid red wine, sweet and with a modest alcohol grade.
Today we have created a noble and refined wine with its body, stilling its distinctive characteristics of naturalness, authenticity, and vivacity typical of the Fortana wine.
